God of the Sea
Art depicts Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea, earthquakes, and horses, as lording it over the ocean's vast depths and its powerful forces. Most depictions of him have him brandishing a trident, which he uses to generate earthquakes and steer the course of the ocean's waves.
